Chocolate Shipping Policy

To ensure your order arrives in good condition, all orders containing chocolate must be shipped via 2-day shipping during the months of May-September. If ground shipping is selected then the cookie will automatically be upgraded to the version with icing, this cookie looks identical but does not contain chocolate and therefore will not melt. In addition to 2-day shipping, all chocolate orders will be shipped in insulated packaging with ice packs. Since chocolate is held in shipping depots over the weekend it can melt, chocolate orders will only ship Monday through Wednesday. During these months, we suggest delivery be made to a business address where UPS deliveries occur early in the day. If delivery must be made to a home address, it is best someone is home to receive the package and move it out of the direct sunlight.

Cookies are fragile and can break in transit across the US. If you are shipping your cookies farther then 2-3 business days from California you must upgrade to 2nd day shipping to ensure the cookies arrive unharmed. If ground shipping is selected we are not responsible for broken cookies, as shipping companies can be very rough on ground packages.
