Wedding 911: How to Deal with a Wedding Dress Stain

You think you pulled off a perfect wedding until an inebriated uncle splashes red wine all over your lily-white gown. In a matter of seconds, you go from beauteous bride to prom-queen Carrie. What do you do?
Worse than rain, a stain on your wedding day leaves its lasting mark of imperfection. Don't panic; assess the situation. Is it an oil-based or water-based stain? In the case of the red wine gone wrong, it's water based. Use the correct treatment for the correct stain. Here are some serious wedding dress stains and their antidotes. Red Wine: Don't scrub! Gently dab with at the stain with a clean white cloth.
Oily Food: Sprinkle talcum powder all over your dress. Wait ten minutes, then shake excess off
