Biggest Fears of a Bride

Getting married is scary; it’s a huge life change for the single girl. But, surprisingly, the biggest fears of the bride are not really all that major, especially when you consider the worst case scenarios. Summer Wedding Wine Smoothies and Stemware

If you are looking for a refreshing summer drink to serve at your wedding, wine smoothies are all the rage and a unique alternative to the common margarita or daiquiri. Forgo the traditional open bar and serve these sweet, satisfying frozen concoctions, you guests will be clamoring for the recipes and toasting to your fine tastes. In addition to just tasting great, this novel idea for your reception offers two additional benefits – it reduces your overall bar bill (as fewer bottles of wine are consumed) and each drink packs less of an alcoholic punch as wine has a lower alcohol content than hard liquors. Weaker drinks are a good thing because they reduce the chances of guests over indulging and then driving home.  Below are a few wedding-worthy wine smoothie recipes for you to try along with suggested stemware for serving. Each batch whips up in a blender or electric ice cream maker; for large gatherings, you can substitute a rented margarita machine for the same results.  Any of these recipes would also be delightful at a bridal shower, bachelorette party or bridesmaid luncheon – consider giving a pretty set of personalized wine glasses or barware to each friend as a thoughtful and fitting choice in bridesmaid gifts.
